Watch the 2001 UK Rally Challenge & Micheline Nations Cup from 7pm, Thursday July 29th

​This week’s Motorsport Ireland – RIAC classic video from the RPM Motorsport collection is highlights from a brace of 2001 events, the UK Rally Challenge and the Michelin Nations Cup.
2001 saw a number of unique events across Ireland and the UK as organising clubs tried to work around the restrictions brought about by that year’s Foot and Mouth Disease outbreak. Knockhill in Scotland hosted two such events, the UK Rally Challenge and the Michelin Nations Cup. Both events returned strong results for Irish crews with a podium lockout in the Challenge event and a team win in the Nations Cup.
