Can I bring a guest?
- The Irish Automobile Club – as it was first known – was formed at a meeting on 22 January 1901 and is one of the oldest motor clubs in the world. Further information here

- A reading room, boardroom,24-hour garage, valet parking, external car wash/interior clean (booking required), members events, archive membership, reciprocal clubs, Clubhouse Restaurant and La Ruelle Wine Bar.

- Fill in a application form and return it to the RIAC office via post or email info@riac.ie before the last Thursday of the month for board approval.
- The allowance is part of your membership subscription, this varies based on type of membership. You can view your credit balance on the RIAC app or the online membership login. They can be used in the Clubhouse Restaurant – Mon – Fri 9am to 3pm or La Ruelle Wine Bar- Wed - Sat 5pm to Midnight ( booking required.)
Please note you will need your membership card to redeem the credits and they will expire on the 30th of November.
- No. Membership is strictly non transferable. You can add one associate member (spouse/partner) by upgrading to one of our family memberships. Please note you will share your parking/restaurant allowance and cannot park at the same time.
- Yes. The Club holds reciprocal agreements with a number of clubs around the world available to our Full Town and Full Country members. You can request a letter of introduction via info@riac.ie (minimum 5 working days prior to visit). All other arrangements must be made by the member with the reciprocal club directly. Can I bring a guest?
- Yes. A guest can accompany a member to the clubhouse, restaurant, wine bar and board room. Guests are not permitted to use the garage and must sign in at reception.
- A neat and tidy appearance using traditional business casual attire as a guide is recommended.
- No. There are no restrictions on usage for our lady members or lady guests in the RIAC.
- Yes. They must always be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

- No. The RIAC garage is members only access.
- No. Only one car can park at a time in the garage. double parking is not allowed.
- No car or motorcycle may be kept in the Club Garage for a continuous period of more than 14 days after which the car or motorcycle must be removed from the Garage for a clear 7 days before being re-admitted for a further continuous period of 14 days. (club rule 29.6) This must be pre approved by the garage via email info@riac.ie at least 5 working days prior to arrival date.
- You can park a van with a max height of 9 1/2 ft. with no roof rack ,that has been pre approved by the garage email info@riac.ie and has no advertisements. Trailers and caravans cannot be parked in the club. (club rule 29.3. & 29.4)
- Yes. The RIAC Archive is Ireland’s only motoring and motorsport archive and is housed in the Club’s premises at Dawson Street, Dublin. Please contact archive@riac.ie for further information.
- Yes. The RIAC's events committee organise a number of events annually open to members and non-members (when specified). See the current event listings here
- The RIAC is the holder of the sporting power on behalf of the FIA in Ireland. This power is delegated on an annual basis to Motorsport Ireland. The headquarters of Motorsport Ireland are also located in the clubhouse on Dawson Street. For further information on Motorsport Ireland click here
