Over the years, RIAC members have helped raise thousands of euro for LauraLynn, and once again, we seeked their help and support. Unfortunately, we could not host a group physical “Picnic in the Park” opportunity this year, instead, we held a very successful a 'Virtual' Picnic on the 22nd July. With the support of Motorsport Ireland, we are delighted to have raised over €5,000 for LauraLynn this year.
Remember, its still not too late donate, just submit your donation at www.lauralynn.ie/donate and reference 'Picnic' under fundraising or event in 'What Inspired your donation?'
RIAC Chairman, Arthur Collier said: "I would like to offer a special thanks to all those that supported the Virtual Picnic in the Park which raised over €5,000 for LauraLynn. In these difficult times, I am delighted to see that the motoring community has not been found wanting. I look forward to seeing you all at our Picnic in the Park next year. "
Many thanks for all those who donated and entered their photos into the competition. The winning photograph 'Lilly's Teddy 'virtually' driving her to the picnic in her granddad's 1926 Citroen 12/24 by Anselm Aherne' is featured above. Congratulations to Lilly, Teddy, and Anselm for this fantastic entry.
