PIONEER RUN 2023

​The 2023 RIAC Pioneer Run will be held on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th September.  This event is for antique and veteran cars (pre-1919) only, and for flat tank motorcycles.  
We have reserved thirty rooms at the Moyvalley Hotel and Golf Resort, where the enjoyable 2022 RIAC Pioneer Run was based.  We have agreed these special rates for our 2023 event:- Double/twins €129 BB per room, per night, with single occupancy €119 BB per room, and triple room €159 BB per night; cottages €220 BB per night. These rates apply to both Friday and Saturday nights.  An organised group dinner of three courses will be available on Saturday night at €40 per person, payable to the hotel.
The car entry fee (€95)  includes a main course Sunday lunch for two people, with choice of two dishes.  The motorcycle entry fee (€45) includes a main course Sunday lunch for one person.  Additional lunch tickets may be purchased from the hotel if desired at €25 per person.
We urge you to book your rooms now in order to secure the accommodation.  Contact Joanna Opawska at the hotel at joanna@moyvalley.com or on +353 46 954 8000.  Make sure you mention the RIAC Pioneer Run when booking in order to avail of the agreed special rates.  Accommodation and meals are payable directly to the hotel.
There will be an optional shakedown run on Saturday, with the main run taking place on Sunday.  More details in due course.
Each entrant will receive the RIAC Pioneer enamel badge award as in previous years. 

You can pay online on the RIAC website www.riac.ie: click on Events, then Pioneer Run, and use the  Eventbrite button,OR return the completed entry form with a cheque payable to RIAC to: RIAC Pioneer Run, 34 Dawson Street, Dublin 2. 
Please note that we need your signed entry form. 

If you pay by Eventbrite you may scan the completed form and email it to pioneerrunirl@gmail.com or post it to the RIAC, 34 Dawson Street, Dublin 2.
